Man Choir

  • Grades: Grade 8, Grade 9-12

  • Ability/Prerequisites: Ability to read (english) at at least 8th grade level
  • Course Fee per Semester: 260
  • Other Fees Charged:
    • Family Muisc Fee - $100/family/yr (covers music operations) [this is charged just once for the entire family for the entire year]
    • Music deposit fee - $20/semester music deposit (returned at the end of the semester if all music returned in proper condition)

    • Concert Uniform (BLACK dress shirt, black dress pants, black dress shoes, black socks)

This group is to help male youth from grades 8-12 learn how to sing parts properly, have confidence when singing, and have fun singing together - and to take that fun of singing into adulthood as men.
Guys in their teens tend to not want to sing in front of girls (esp. when their voices are changing). This is a 'safe space' for guys to sing while their voices are changing and to learn how to have fun singing during that time while they have fun singing 'guy songs'.



 

NOTE: If/when we are able to add a Women's Choir this choir (or select sub-groups of this choir) may occassionally sing mixed songs together with the Women's Choir.
